Meet AFMG at the InfoComm Show 2017
|
|
Focus Your Sub Arrays! – over the last
couple of months this topic has received great interest from sound
technicians, system designers, and loudspeaker engineers worldwide.
In the process, we shared a lot of experience and knowledge with the audio community which we would like to continue and extend:
|
|
AFMG welcomes you at InfoComm 2017, June 14-16 in Orlando, Florida!
|
|
At this tradeshow we would like to exchange
ideas with you, learn more about your workflows, and hear your thoughts
about using our software. We are working continuously on the improvement
of our products, including our flagship solution EASE for room acoustic
simulation, our measurement software AFMG SysTune, and EASE Focus for
the design of line array setups.
The latest edition of EASE Focus, version 3, enables you to use
preconfigured sub arrays or create your own subwoofer arrangements
tailored to the application. Tools like the automatic calculation of
delays or the simulated interaction of subs with flown systems make your
job easier. This and more can be found in our much appreciated crash
course presentation „Focus Your Sub Arrays!“
Please stop by, have a look at sub arrays in EASE Focus 3 and share your
experiences. Take the chance to contribute to the next generation of
our products!

We are pleased to announce that AFMG has moved to a new, larger office.
After an exciting construction phase and timely delivery, AFMG has moved
to the new space in the last week of April. We are happy that the
change was largely unnoticeable for our customers. In less than a day
all teams, equipment, and servers were up and running again.
|
|
The new rooms are equipped with
state-of-the-art network, modern communication systems, and comfortable
acoustics. Pleasant views, more meeting opportunities, and very open
offices give our staff members working places of high quality. With
enough room to grow, the new office will allow AFMG to better attend to
an increasingly sophisticated and demanding market.
AFMG is proud to have taken this big step forward and to start one more chapter of its continuing story of success.
We will be glad to welcome our customers, friends, and partners to our new location:
Borkumstr. 2,
D-13189 Berlin, Germany

AFMG Has Published GLL Measurement Guidelines
|
|
AFMG's award-winning GLL concept
supplies loudspeaker data by means of a flexible, expandable, and
adaptable description language. Using the exact phase data in the GLL,
the modeling of complex sources becomes possible with high precision.
The GLL data format established itself as the best model for highly
reliable simulations.
EASE SpeakerLab is the software that allows to assemble the measured data together with the mechanical design of loudspeakers to compile GLLs.
|
|
AFMG now provides a complete User's Guide
for EASE SpeakerLab. This new manual includes a comprehensive
step-by-step explanation of all program features with practical examples
and pieces of advice. It gives a detailed description of the different
data formats and also important measurement guidelines. This in-depth
knowledge about measurement techniques helps to adequately model the
loudspeaker behavior.
The manual represents an important reference document for all EASE
SpeakerLab users and creators of GLLs. To take a look at it please
