Welcome to a new issue of the AFMG Newsletter. With this newsletter we like to inform you about new products, software updates, trainings, and interesting downloads related to our products.

Restructuring of the AFMG Newsletter Subscription

As you will have noticed, AFMG has been undergoing many major changes related to its company structure and worldwide distribution. Our scope of products has expanded over the past and we have been intensifying our contact to you, our customers and partners.

The number of newsletters we have been sending to keep you updated has increased. We have now implemented a revised tool to allow you to edit your subscription settings to more closely match your interests.
Please visit your Newsletter Profile if you wish to make adjustments.

EASERA 1.2 Released!

EASERA 1.2 offers the classical features plus full support for Microsoft Windows Vista, 7, and 8.

This free upgrade to EASERA includes a number of major additions and improvements:

Improved folder structure providing full compliance with MS Windows Vista, 7 and 8 security guidelines
Updated licensing engine – please see the v1.2 upgrade document
Pro version: Support for scale model measurements
AUBION X.8 measurement device certified for TEF/TDS module
Polars module: Direct support for automated measurements using Outline ET2 and ET250-3D turntables, Four Audio ELF robot and LinearX LT 360 turntable
Software installer now includes tutorial documents
Various bugfixes and other improvements

SysTune 1.3 goes Beta – Integration with Lake Controller 6

Since the release of SysTune 1.2 in May we have received much positive feedback from you especially on the new Delay Analysis and Web Interface features. The past months have been filled with intense work to add another popularly demanded plug in. Together with Lab.Gruppen we have established the seamless integration of SysTune with the Lake Controller 6.

Our beta testers have received the first beta release of SysTune 1.3 last week to once again set out on a quest for perfect usability and optimized functionality. If you are an audio professional using SysTune with Lake controllers on a daily basis and would like to try out this new feature as a beta tester, please sign up here.

To install loudspeaker data within EASE please go to Help and select Update Database.
To install loudspeaker data for all other software, please download the data from the website of the relevant program and follow the instructions given there.

Meet AFMG at 2013 Tradeshows

After the great success of our previous participation at ProLight&Sound in Frankfurt, Germany, we will expand our presence to the main pro-audio event on the American continent.

After ProLight&Sound in April, AFMG will be exhibiting at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida from June 12 to 15.

EASE Evac Online Tutorial

For everybody looking for a quick, all-encompassing introduction to AFMG´s newest member of the EASE family, we have now put a 90 minute tutorial webinar online. Watch this to quickly understand the different features and options of EASE Evac.

EASE Focus 2 is the only free modeling tool supporting different manufacturers within the same project.

Firmware Upgrade for the AUBION X.8

Proud owners of the AUBION X.8 professional measurement interface can now upgrade their firmware to the latest release supporting sample rates up to 96 kHz. This upgrade is a free download available from the AUBION website.

International Distribution as of January 1st, 2013

As announced in our September newsletter, we will be assuming worldwide distribution of all our products by ourselves at the beginning of the new year. Our regional support and distribution partners will then be connected to the AFMG Headquarters in Berlin directly, ensuring an intensified, speedy connection both for sales and support issues.
