Resolution for Mappings

Why has the recommended resolution been changed from a half wavelength to an eighth of a wavelength?

The lambda button is our recommendation for a calculation with a minimum error.
Due to a lot of investigations we have decided to recommend an eighth of a wavelength because we experienced in some cases bigger differences than expected compared to a resolution of a half wavelength.

Nevertheless the thumb rule for the resolution setting should be:
If the result of a calculation at higher resolution doesn't change in comparison to the calculation before the former resolution has been high enough.

Please note: A pixel can be much bigger than a wavelength especially in cases of high frequencies, big Audience Areas, low screen resolution or little window size. If necessary split up your Audience Areas and do the calculations separately to receive a satisfying resolution.
You can also run the calculation at a resolution higher than a pixel and use the Zoom In function later on.
