EASE Training - EASE 4 and Transition to EASE 5-FE
This 5 days on-site training will be based on EASE 4, giving an introduction to the new tool EASE 5-FE for a smooth transition.
Entry Level: 2 days (600 USD)
Advanced Level: 5 days (1,250 USD)

When I enter Audience Areas and/or Listeners Seats, are the seats already considered "occupied" for the mapping calculations? If not - how do I simulate real listeners?
Neither Audience Areas nor Seats do have any acoustical effect on simulation results, thus do not include any absorption data and are therefore acoustically transparent. Audience Areas and Listener Seats serve as receiver points for simulations only.
This free and open webinar will cover the most important features and tools in EASE 5-FE JR version.
This free-of-charge seminar consists of two parts lasting 90 minutes each:
Registration and the final start and finish time will be published soon.
EASE 5 supports the latest standard edition IEC 60268-16:2020. To perform standard compliant STI calculations, we recommend to proceed as follows:
In the IEC 60268-16:2020 standard, since Edition 2020 (Edition 5.0), only a male speaker is provided as the excitation signal. To enable that signal, go to the ACOUSTIC PARAMETERS Window and click on the INPUT SIGNAL Tile. In the PROPERTIES - INPUT SIGNAL Window select Speech.
This live online training extends over two days in a row to help EASE users get started with the new software EASE 5-FE.
Beginners who are generally new to EASE are recommended to register for the two days. Users with experience with EASE 4 may choose to register for the second day only.
Ambient noise settings for the simulated room are found in the bottom right of the Acoustic Parameters window.
Clicking on the Measured Noise Level tile will zoom in on the related two tiles and update the Properties window on the left-hand side to show the current noise level values.
Building rooms with EASE 5
Time: 10AM-1PM and 2-5PM (CST)
This 1-day hands-on class will get new and existing EASE users comfortable with the drawing tools in EASE 5. Importing DWG or drawings directly in the light-weight EASE editor, adding sources and receivers, and changing the acoustic characteristics of the room, as well as loading and saving EASE 4 projects. Detailed information can be found in the pdf below.
Registration is completed.
