Materiacustica Srl, in collaboration with RCF SpA and AFMG, is organizing a training course dedicated to AFMG's EASE 5 acoustic simulation software.

The course will take place in person from March 17 to 19, 2026, at the RCF Academy (https://www.rcf.it/it/rcf-academy) in Reggio Emilia and will be divided into two independent modules, with the possibility of choosing the training package that best suits your needs:

1. Basic Course (2 days): Fundamentals and operation of EASE 5
2. Advanced Course (+1 day): Advanced analysis and auralization

It is possible to participate in:

• Only the Basic Course (2 days)
• Only the Advanced Module (+1 day)
• Complete bundle (2+1 day)

Program

Day 1 - Fundamentals and Model Building

• Basics of acoustic and electro-acoustic simulation
• Anatomy of the calculation model in EASE
• Managing material database and calculating reverberation time
• Inserting sources and defining calculation areas
• First results with Acousteer

Day 2 - Operations and Case Studies

• Practical case studies
• Source aiming and time alignment
• Introduction to STI and Ray Tracing with EASE Jr

Day 3 - Advanced Analysis and Auralization

• Theory and practice of Ray Tracing
• Advanced modules (Ray Tracing, AURA)
• STI calculation, reflectogram analysis, and auralization examples

Training license and certificate

Participants will be provided with a free one-month license for the EASE 5 Pro software.
At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be provided by AFMG.
