Discover the latest innovations in EASE 5 and Acousteer

We are pleased to announce that our distribution partner Initial Audio Concept (IAC) will be exhibiting at Prolight + Sound Guangzhou - one of the world’s largest entertainment and professional AV industry event. The exhibition will take place from May 28–31 at Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China.

At the show, IAC will present the latest features of EASE 5, with a special focus on the newest developments of the Acousteer real-time simulation engine.

Advancing Real-Time Acoustic Simulation with Acousteer

Visitors will experience the next phase of the Acousteer engine in EASE 5 Third Edition, marking an important step beyond pure direct sound simulation. For the first time, key room acoustic parameters are being integrated directly into the real-time workflow.

New interactive maps for Total SPL, Signal-to-Noise Ratio, and Direct-to-Reverberant Ratio update instantly as materials, source parameters, or delay times are adjusted - completely eliminating recalculation wait times and enabling a truly interactive design process.

The expanded Acousteer feature set now also includes essential room acoustic metrics, such as the reverberant field and Schroeder Frequency, complemented by distribution graphs that allow for quantitative evaluation across listener areas.

Additional highlights include arrival time mapping for fast verification of source localization and delay alignment, as well as real-time visualization of how material changes directly impact acoustic performance.
