Data Protection Declaration of AFMG Technologies GmbH

For AFMG, protection of personal data in line with the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG) and with further data protection provisions applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany is a matter of course. For this reason, AFMG protects personal data from unauthorised access, use and disclosure and records and uses its customer data only as follows:

1.  Customer data automatically transmitted to AFMG on accessing its website such as, for example, IP address, browser, operating system, access date, access time, URL of the last page accessed etc., cannot be traced to any individual person and will not be referenced against other data provided by the customer. The data are used only to improve the internet service and are then deleted.

2.  AFMG will request, save and use personal data of the customer, for instance in connection with registration, survey, application, negotiations prior to contract or contract, only in that context. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without express and at all times revocable consent or legal obligation, except where the third party is a service partner for the execution of order (primarily in connection with data processing, as dispatch company or factoring bank). Such external partners are bound by the same undertaking of confidentiality as applies to AFMG staff.

3.  For further services such as the set up of a customer account (so that, for instance, on subsequent visit to the Online Store, the customer's name and address already appear on the order form) or else for invoicing, AFMG shall record further personal data. To this end, separate and at all times revocable consent from the customer shall be necessary, as in the case of AFMG newsletter subscription.

4.  In order to use the AFMG shopping cart, the customer's browser must accept temporary cookies. These are text data files which are copied from a webserver to the customer's hard drive without programs having to be run or viruses being transmitted to the customer's computer. They serve the purpose of ease of site navigation and simplify use as, with the help of the cookies, the customer may return to previously visited pages or access prior settings. If a customer refuses to accept cookies, it may be that certain interactive functions of www.afmg.eu are impaired.

5. If the customer wishes to request information on his or her personal data stored; to refuse to allow the use or transfer of data for the purpose of advertising, market or opinion research; to request the amendment, blocking or deletion of his or her data or to cancel newsletter subscription, he or she may do so by sending an e-mail to the following address: @email
